Guest Rooms

There are four types of guest rooms at Shiozawa no Mori .

Rooms recommended for small groups such as couples and married couples,

Rooms recommended for large groups such as families ,

Japanese-style room type recommended for small children and elderly people

We also have rooms available .

All rooms have a living room, terrace, and bathroom on the first floor.

The second floor is the bedroom.

Type A: Special Suite

Special Suite (Type A)

Recommended for couples and small groups ( 2-3 people )

On the first floor there is a Western-style living room, terrace, kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

The second floor is a twin bedroom (with one extra bed).

AB type: Semi-Japanesque Suite

Semi-Japanesque Suite (Type AB)

Recommended for families with small children who want to sleep together ( 2-5 people )

On the first floor there is a Japanese-style living room (with 3 beds), a terrace, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

The second floor is a twin bedroom (with one extra bed).

Type B: Japanesque Suite

Japanesque Suite (Type B)

Recommended for three-generation families and groups ( 3-6 people )

On the first floor there is a Western-style living room, a Japanese-style room (with 3 sets of bedding), a terrace, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

On the second floor is a triple bedroom.

C type: Executive Suite

Executive Suite (Type C)

Recommended for families and groups ( 4-7 people )

On the first floor there is a spacious living room (with sofa bed), terrace, kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

The second floor has two twin bedrooms (each with an extra bed)

D type terrace

[New] Deluxe Connecting Suite (Type D)

This is a new room available from July 22, 2021.

There is a jacuzzi next to the terrace and a loft above the Japanese-style room. The rooms are connected so you can move between them. Capacity ( 2-8 people )

On the first floor there is a Japanese and Western style living room, a jacuzzi, a terrace, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

On the second floor there is a bedroom (triple) and a loft above the Japanese-style room.

Food and dining

All meals at Shiozawa No Mori will be served to your guest room (room service).

For preparation reasons, we ask that you make your reservation in advance (two days in advance) ( light meals and delivery are available on the day ).
We can also introduce you to nearby restaurants, so please inquire at the front desk if you would like to do so.

The basic accommodation fee at Shiozawa no Mori varies depending on the season.

Get off at Karuizawa Station on the JR Nagano Shinkansen line / 5km (1 hour walk)
Shinano Railway Nakakaruizawa Station / 3km (40 minutes on foot)
